I’m a junior doctor. I live in London and work just outside it.
I’ve been writing a blog intermittently since the year after finishing my first degree (Eng. Lit.), when I was studying Biology and Chemistry at evening classes so that I could go to medical school, working as a medical secretary by day and living part-time in London and part-time in Oxford with my parents. It helped to keep sane and I would definitely be happier if I blogged more now!
I love stories (everything from patient histories – the talking part of a medical clerking – to George Eliot), making things, London, my boyfriend, and tea. I have a great fondness for kitchen tables – particularly when surrounded by friends or family, and ideally covered in tea or books, or both – and British pottery. Some other things I love are here.
My Ravelry moniker is interknitter (the name of my old blog), and my email address interknitting [at] googlemail [dot] com.
Wow! English lit followed by medicine. Well done!
